I would often daydream that I am in a place that is perfectly quiet and nature abounds. Drawing does that for me. Every line, every stroke, is a fulfillment of that desire, connecting my innermost thoughts with reality, the molding of reality made possible by the movement of my hands. And then I’ll get lost; lost in a world that only my imagination can ever build, in a galaxy that only I will ever see and feel. Sometimes it makes me think that maybe I belonged there, in that world far different from our own. Or perhaps I was meant to be in that place momentarily to come back to reality and translate the beauty that I was able to see into something that other human beings will be able to understand and appreciate. Art is very much alive indeed.
Have a nice day! God bless!
